History
Founder Tanezo Nakae began managing a copper mine in 1885; this laid the foundations for Nakae Sangyo Co., Ltd.
Under his outstanding leadership, the Company continued to grow through the turbulent decades of the Showa, Heisei, and Reiwa Eras, with forestry business as the driving force.
In 1992, the Company took up the new challenge of shifting operations towards the real estate leasing business, initially in Osaka and subsequently in other parts of Japan, including Hokkaido, Tokyo, and Fukuoka. Since its U.S. debut in 1998, the Company subsequently entered the European and Asian markets, steadily expanding its real estate leasing activities.
